01The agreement

These terms apply when you use Plug — whether you hold an account and sell things, or you buy something from someone who does. Using Plug means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.

Plug is the platform. The creator is the seller. When you buy something, your contract for that product is with the creator, not with Plug.

02Plug is in beta

Plug is early software. Things will break, features will change, and data could be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you upload.

This is said plainly because it is true, and because it changes what is reasonable to expect. Do not make Plug the only place a file exists, and do not build a business on it that you could not move elsewhere in an afternoon.

03Accounts

You must be 18 or over to hold a creator account. One person, one account, real information. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.

A customer does not need an account to buy — an email address is enough. You can create one afterwards to keep your library in one place.

Plug can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable to give notice first, it will be given.

04What Plug provides

A storefront at your own handle, a way to list digital products and links, storage and delivery for the files you sell, and a record of who bought what.

Plug does not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and may change or remove features. It is not a backup service and it is not an archive.

Payments are not live. Priced products cannot currently be bought, and Plug holds no card details for anyone. Free products work normally.

When payments do go live, the fees, the payout schedule and the refund rules will be set out here before anyone is charged anything.

05What a creator agrees to

• You own what you sell, or you have the rights to sell it.
• What you list is what you deliver — the description matches the file.
• You handle your own customers: their questions, their problems, their refunds.
• You follow the law that applies to you, including your own tax obligations.
• You keep your own copy of everything you upload.

06Rights in what you sell

Plug does not check up front that you own what you list. Requiring proof before publishing would make the product unusable and would not stop anyone determined.

Instead, listing something is a binding promise that you have the right to sell it. That promise is what Plug relies on, and breaking it is a breach of these terms.

You keep ownership of your own work. You give Plug only the permission it needs to host it, show it on your storefront and deliver it to the people who buy it — nothing more, and it ends when you remove the product or close your account.

If someone reports that your listing is not yours, Plug may ask you for evidence and may remove the listing while it looks. Repeated infringement ends the account.

07Copyright complaints

If something on Plug infringes your copyright, write to support@plugapp.co with: what the work is, where it is on Plug, how to reach you, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and that what you are telling us is accurate.

Plug will look at credible reports and remove infringing material. The creator will be told, and can respond.

08Buying and delivery

A purchase gives you a personal right to use the file for yourself. It does not let you resell it, redistribute it, or pass it on, unless the creator says otherwise.

Delivery is a link sent to the email address you gave at checkout, and the same items stay available in your library. Download links expire and can be requested again.

Digital products are delivered immediately, so they are generally not refundable. If something is wrong — the file is broken, or it is not what was described — contact the creator first, and support@plugapp.co if you get nowhere.

09Plans and storage

Each plan comes with an amount of file storage. On the free plan that is 100 MB in total across all your products; paid plans are larger. The allowance counts the files you have attached to products, and deleting a product gives the space back.

Plans, allowances and prices may change. If a change would reduce what you already have, you will be told before it takes effect.

10What you may not do

• Sell anything you do not have the right to sell.
• Sell anything illegal, or anything that sexualises minors.
• Use Plug to deceive people — false listings, fake claims, products that are not what they say.
• Break, overload, or probe the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
• Use Plug to send spam, malware, or anything designed to harm the person who downloads it.

Plug may remove content or close an account for any of these, and may do so without notice where there is a risk to someone.

11Disclaimers and liability

Plug is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Given the beta, that is not a formality — see section 02.

Plug is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Plug in the three months before the claim — which, while payments are off, is nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Ending it

You can stop using Plug and close your account at any time by writing to support@plugapp.co.

Closing your account takes your storefront down. Purchases people already made remain theirs, and Plug keeps the minimum record needed to honour them.

13Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the product does, and payments will change them substantially. The effective date at the top changes with them, and account holders are told about anything material before it applies.
